Recce photos of chosen locations
Location One - Cafe
We chose this location as it was ideal for us and also connected with the advert that we were filming. As the theme for our advert was based in a school environment with children around and the location of the cafe, fitted in well with this as the cafe was a social and break out area where the children came to socialise and enjoy food. Also the cafe is wide an spacey enough for us to film and move things around to make an ideal scene.
Location Two - Under bridge
The second location we chose was outside an under the bridge. This location was big enough to fit all the people involved in our advert. Also there was plenty of room for the camera to pan and get all different types of views.

Casting photo and agreement
Actor one
We then
auditioned Shaukat for the lead role and we were going to pick him to
be the lead role but due to injuries. But we then came up with an idea to use
him for the over voice instead, as he had a strong voice.
Actor two
The second actor that we auditioned was Kamil for the role of the lead as well; he was unsuccessful due to poor acting skills because he was very nervous and jittery.
Actor three
This is the first actor we auditioned
Gift, for the role of the lead. But unfortunately he was unsuccessful because
as he was older he looked too old for the part, but also he lacking confidence
and emotion in front of the camera.
Actor four
The finally we auditioned Anwar for
the lead role and he was successful, his acting was perfect for the role and he
was just what we were looking for, as he was the right age and looked young.

Mis-en-Scene
Locations:
The location we have chosen to use for our advert to be placed is in the our school cafe and also outside under the bridge. The reason why we decided the cafe is because they had a counter for the purchases of our smoothie and if we move the table and chairs there would be enough space to use for our advert. We also decided that outside under the bridge was a good ideal as we wanted a much more bigger space for the dancers to dance in and to add in some random shots from some where else. These are pictures of the location that we will be using to do our filming, we will film with and without the tables and chairs. Also outside under the bridge photos.

Props:
These are the props that we are going to use in our advert.

The first prop will be the costumes. The reason why we will be using costumes is its humorous and different and gives the advert the element of fun and random.these are things we wanna aim for in our advert as it will make our advert a lot more eye catching and well recognised. The costumes will come into the advert when everybody starts doing the Harlem shake we want it to be outrageous and fun so we decided that random people who where dancing would wear pieces of costume.
The second prop is the bottle. We will be using a plastic bottle as a prop, as it will be rapped with our brands logo and become our product. We need this so that when we start filming our advert we can include the bottle in the advert to show the brand and the logo.
Music:
To have our music playing loud, we are using one of the sports youth clubs stereo so we can have the music playing out loud and clear for our dancers.

Treatment
Our product is a new healthy smoothie which contains all the 5 a day, its called: Juicin
Whats different about our product from the rest is that not like the other smoothies that only come in one flavor per bottle ours comes in fusions of different flavors for example kiwi and strawberry and also apple and pineapple. Its also very nutritious and high in fiber and delicious.
The target audience that stood out to us and would benefit a lot from our product was young adults and children from ages 7 to 16. We choose to aim our product at these ages, other than an older audience because there wouldn't be much interest in our product from this audience as the name and the colors and slogan of our product is very child orientated and this isn't what an older audience would look for.
The packaging that we chose that would be suitable for our product and target audience, the packaging colors will be very bright cheerful and summery colors such as bright yellows, limey greens and vibrant oranges. The product will be in a bottle shape and will have a screw lid and around the bottle there will be the logo which will be central on the packaging. Around the logo will be a fruit bowls on either side and behind the logo will be a fruit of any kind depending of the drink or example if it was a lemon and pineapple smoothie then there will be a lemon and a pineapple behind the logo and the fruits will be in cartoon form drinking the drink. Also on the back of the packaging there will be a guide and information about what is in the drink and what is the energy, fats, sugar, salt and fiber levels to show buyers what is in our product.
The lines of appeal for our advert are that it gives parents the re-assurance that their children are drinking healthy, as in the advert the child buys a healthy smoothie drink. Our product gives self-importance and pride to our consumers we incorporate this into our advert as we show how happy and energetic the child is in our advert. The advert is also a comedy and be humorous to promote our product and make it fun for viewers to watch and it will raise awareness for our product. It is a reward power which promises some positive benefit. This will also be included in out advert because the child will always be enthusiastic and happy and healthy.
The advert will start with an realist narrative as the advert will focus on the child, then it will turn into an anti-realist narrative because when the child opens the lid of the drink a noise which would be heard from the bottle and then the unusual and bizarreness of when everyone starts to dance. The aim of our advert is to grab attention of the audience as our advert is fun and different and it will be memorable and its eye catching. The persuasive techniques we will be using to gain attention will be the unusualness of the advert and the slogan which has a jingle to it. the labeling of our advert will be fun, bizarre, unique and memorable.
The slogan that we have chosen is 'Stay cool. Stay refreshed. Stay Juicin'. We chose this slogan as its repetitive catchy and memorable . It also ties in with our product and coolness of the product and the refreshment the product gives to the consumers. Also the Harlem shake dance used in the advert will be recognizable fro the viewers and remind them of our product. The advert will also include an over voice of an enthusiastic, loud and funny american sales voice to state the slogan and the product. We chose an voice like this to go with our product because its attention grabbing, humorous, in powering and the hits the target audience.
The price of our product is 80p for a single bottle which is affordable and reasonable, but also will be bottles that can be brought in packs and will be sold at a higher price depending on the amount of bottles. the product will be in all supermarkets and even sold in schools and local shops. The advert would appear on child like channels during the daytime. For example, Channel 5, ITV, Channel 4 and E4.

Resarch Report - Product Response
We presented our group idea to our class, to gain imformation and to hear the responses for our product. The information that we got would help us alot as we would then know what the public wanted and how we can make it more appealing to them and if there is anything they didnt like about the product. With the information given, we can then work on the bad reponses given to us and improve them to better our product.
After we presented our product these are the questions that we asked:
What did they think about this product?
We asked the group about there opinions about the product and we recieved lots of different views and opinnions but the most common response was that they liked the idea of this product and that the benifits of this product was that it is a healthy nutrious drink to keep you going through the day.
Would they use this product?when asked this question the group told us that they would use this product as it was healthy and nutruious. they also said it would be a great for children as its has all of your 5 a day in it and it can help children get healthly and give them a natural engrgy instead of a sugar rush.
How much would they expect to pay?
The group were not looking to pay to much for this prouduct and they asked if it would be sold in packs. but overalll repsonse was that they would pay within 1 pound to 1.50 per bottle.
What did they like about this product?
They liked that it was healthy drink that it had a great slogan and logo. but also they liked the idea of the product being for children and that it had all of the 5 a day in it. Also liked that you could have more then one favour as it can in a range of different flavours.
What didnt they like about this product?
They didnt like that it was high in price because they didnt want to pay to much for the product and that it wouldnt be sold in packs as they didnt want to just buy one bottle for around 1.50, they rathered that it was sold in 3's or 4's for about 3pound.
